2017 Senior Thesis Exhibition

The 2017 Senior Thesis Exhibition will be held in the Hastings College JDAC Galler from April 3rd-21st.  
We encourage you to stop by to view the gallery work of Hastings College Seniors Kirsten Berns-Painting, Vanessa Cox-Mixed Media, and Maria Lara-Mixed Media. These students in the Hastings College Department of Visual Art have spent vigorous hours in their studios shaping their artistic vision.
Thesis lectures will be held on April 8th 1:00-3:00 pm in the Hastings College Wilson Center with a Gallery Reception to follow at the JDAC building and is open to the public.

Photographer - George Nobechi Lecture and Visit

One of the world’s prominent emerging photographers, George Nobechi’s images reveal a world seen by few others, but experienced by everyone. Nobechi will discuss his work in a keynote artist lecture at 7 pm on April 5 in Hastings College’s French Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
 

Photographer - Kate Breakey Lecture and Visit

One of the world’s most prominent photographers, Kate Breakey’s images have been compared to some of history’s most important photographic artists, including Edward Weston, Man Ray and Anna Atkins. Breakey will discuss her work in a keynote artist lecture at 7 pm on April 6 in Hastings College’s French Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
