Two Hastings College students took home awards at the 2024 Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation/Lincoln Industries Student Art Show. Alexis Linnebach of Olathe, Kansas, received the 1st Place 3-D award with her ceramic piece “Treat Yourself Friday,” while Ally Stratton of Omaha, Nebraska, received Honorable Mention in 2-D with an untitled linocut piece.

More than 120 works by students from CINCF’s 13 member colleges and universities were selected to be part of the show.

A reception and awards ceremony were held last week at Hillmer Art Gallery at the College of Saint Mary in Omaha. Approximately 100 guests attended, including many student artists and their families, presidents of CINCF’s member colleges and universities, art instructors, CINCF business directors and the local business community.
