Suzette Escamilla Morales has been awarded a Boren Scholarship, which is sponsored by the National Security Education Program, to study in India during the 2016-17 academic year. She will study the Hindi language and other subjects during the year.

Hastings College held its 130th Commencement on May 14. During the annual ceremony, the college awarded degrees to 177 undergraduates and 12 Master of Arts in Teaching graduates.
