ACLU Nebraska: Presentation on LGBT Rights in NE

This presentation is part of ACLU's statewide public education tour to discuss issues of importance to LGBT individuals, such
as freedom to marry; nondiscrimination within employment, housing, and public accommodations; and Transgender education and acceptance.  The purpose of the education tour is to create a supportive environment in which people may ask questions and gain a greater understanding of how specific issues affect LGBT individuals.

Toni Blackman is a cultural ambassador and an advocate of improvisation. Her experiences as a diplomatic worker enable her to move through various communities (the arts, political circles, international gatherings, youth groups, academia, and the music industry) with ease. As America’s first Hip-Hop Ambassador, her work has consistently communicated that hip-hop is the international platform to position the US as a good global citizen.
