Student Development Fund

Hastings College students are interested, curious people! We often have students looking for special research and conference opportunities in order to present papers, broaden their understanding or to lead an organization.

The Student Development Fund is available to help students like you, while working with faculty members, to benefit from such opportunities that would otherwise be beyond your means.

In general, the fund generally supports up to $500 for research that involves extra expenses (like travel) or to purchase materials and equipment. It’s also used to support travel to regional or national student meetings or conferences where you’re presenting work or serving in a leadership position.
