Dudley-Doerr Society for Business and Economics
The Dudley-Doerr Society for Business and Economics is a network of alumni who support the department with their time and resources and stay informed through regular updates. The Society also honors legendary business and economics professors Dr. Phil Dudley, president emeritus and gifts officer at the Hastings College Foundation, and Roger Doerr, past president of the Hastings College Foundation and member of its Board of Trustees.
How can you support the Department of Business and Economics and our future business leaders?
- Provide internships and employment opportunities for students and alumni through Career Services. To share your opportunity, contact Kim Graviette, director of career services, at 402.461.7387 or kgraviette@hastings.edu.
- Refer a prospective student to the Admissions Office.
- Sustain the Dudley-Doerr Society with a gift to the Dudley-Doerr Fund.
Dudley-Doerr Funds are used to support Business/Economic Department needs, such as classroom technology, spaces for collaborative learning, and professional development for faculty.
Additionally, business students of at least sophomore standing are invited to apply for Dudley-Doerr mini-grants to help support experiential learning such as internships, business-related research, academic conference attendance, workshops on life skills like financial literacy and dining etiquette, entrepreneurial ventures, and career fair and graduate school visits. Faculty select recipients based on students’ academic achievement and potential for success, among other criteria.
If you wish to contribute to the Dudley-Doerr Fund, you can make your gift here.
