Elaine (Schaap) Gendron of Denver, Colorado, is a world traveler who holds numerous licenses after a successful real estate career in which she was an owner and broker. She was named Realtor of the Year in Jefferson County, Colorado.
Gendron received her bachelor’s degree in theatre and sociology from Hastings College in 1965 and studied social services at Colorado University. She is the originator of the Opera Colorado and Colorado Ballet, a trustee at Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church, and a food bank volunteer.
In her spare time, Gendron enjoys reading, gardening, traveling with her husband, Ron, and playing with her grandson.
