John Chrise teaches graphic design at Hastings College. He previously taught at Hastings College from 1999 to 2013 and returns again to the teaching role in 2024.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he studied Visual Communications at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has enjoyed a long professional career in the design, advertising and marketing industry, holding various roles as Designer, Senior Designer, Art Director and Creative Director, and he would eventually found Infuze Creative, an ongoing successful design and marketing firm located in the historical downtown district of Hastings, Nebraska. Since retiring ownership of the firm, he continues professional design work for select clientele.
