While competing at the 2015 Zombie Apocalypse in Hutchinson, Kansas, on February 7-8, the Hastings College Bronco Forensics team finished third overall and qualified six more events for the American Forensics Association-National Individual Events Tournament.
Kathryn Edwards, a sophomore from Louisville, Nebraska, finished third in individual sweepstakes on the first day of competition. On February 8, she earned spots in the national tournament by finishing second in After Dinner Speaking and third in Communication Analysis.

On February 14, 2015, the team travels to Seward, Nebraska, to defend its state championship in one of the most competitive states in the country.
