On Tuesday, October 16 at 7:45 p.m., students in Dr. Jessica Henry’s Argumentation and Debate course will host a presidential debate watch in Hazelrigg Student Union (705 E. 9th St.) This bipartisan debate viewing is free and open to the public as an opportunity to watch and discuss a presidential debate as a community. Free food and goodies will be provided to all who attend.
As many campus groups, such as Campus Conservatives, HC Democrats and HC Republicans, are advocating and giving students the tools to vote, the debate watch gives students and community members the chance to openly discuss each side of politics, the future of the United States and for whom they will vote.
