Hastings College Professor of Communication Studies Dr. John Perlich is an editor of a newly published collection of essays. Myth in the Modern World: Essays on Intersections with Ideology and Culture from McFarland Press features essays on Breaking Bad; 20th Century Boys; Justified; Al Qaeda; Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire); The L Word; The Day the Earth Stood Still; Gods of the Gridiron (Myth & Sport); Twilight; and Man v. Food. This is the third publication in the area of mythology, ideology and culture for Dr. Perlich since 2008. Joining him as editor is Dr. David Whitt, Professor of Communication at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
