(Hastings, Neb.) – As students and faculty prepare to start classes on August 26, Hastings College is excited to announce the preliminary enrollment of 347 first-year students — its largest first year class in the College’s 131 year history. With 54 transfer students, the College welcomes 401 new Broncos to campus during this weekend’s New Student Days Orientation.
“There’s a feeling of shared enthusiasm on campus as we start the new academic year,” said Don Jackson ’70, President of Hastings College. “Everyone on campus has contributed to successfully recruiting this class. Now, we’re ready to start educating and mentoring these talented young men and women. We have a tremendous opportunity to change their lives in meaningful ways.”
