Sophomores Kathryn Edwards and Corbin Henk stepped up for the Hastings College Bronco Forensics team as it competed in at the 2015 Border Wars Swing in Salina, Kansas. The tournament, hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University and Cameron University, was held on January 31-February 1, 2015.
Doniphan, Nebraska-native Henk placed sixth in Prose Interpretation and advanced to semi-finals in Impromptu Speaking on January 31. He advanced to semi-finals in Prose Interpretation on February 1. Edwards, who hails from Louisville, Nebraska, finished fifth in Duo Interpretation with Tommy Hendrix, a junior from Omaha, Nebraska, on January 31 and first in Impromptu Speaking on February 1.

Next weekend, the team will participate in the 2015 Zombie Apocalypse in Hutchinson, Kansas.
